Shine, an ogre-fairy guide, and Blue, a grumpy ogre who needs to learn to open her heart, are available for workshop visits for schools, events and festivals.
Time to Shine Class!
Follow along with Blue’s journey from grumpy ogre to a joyful, loving ogre. We learn practices like grounding, stomping, shaking, wiggling and ROARING so we can release trapped energy and trigger the parasympathetic nervous system to create a state of calm and safety.
Featuring a 40 minute class with a soundscape audiobook recording with forests sounds and frequency healing, this an immersive somatic movement story experience.
Suitable for young to old! The class is not just for children – it is a golden opportunity for adults to explore some inner child fun!
Storytelling in Motion – To Help Regulate Emotions
This is a beautiful storytelling adventure with lovable ogre characters, Blue and Shine. The story follows Blue’s transformation from a grumpy ogre using narrative-based movements weaved into a storyline.
Chakra Clearing Fun
Having studied yoga, kundadance and Qigong teacher training, this class has been choregraphed to help to gently clear the lower chakras, which are known to story negative emotions with the body.
Shine shows Blue – and the whole class – how to ground using fun and easy to follow storytelling. Shine then shows Blue how to stomp and shake away frustration, which are powerful ways used in activate the root chakra which stores negative energy including frustration and anger.
Blue is then taught how to wiggle in more creativity and fun as she activates the sacral chakra.
The solar plexus is known to store courage and confidence, so Shine helps Blue to clear away doubt and find her inner sunshine.
The story allows Blue to very gently and safely clear away some of the negative energy which blocks our inner light, our inner sunshine. The storytelling adventure then shows Blue how to open her heart, connecting with love and with the Happy Ogre Tribe.
My educational background in yoga, kundadance and Qigong have introduced me to ancient methods of clearing our energy system so that we can embody more fun and love.
The best part? Nobody needs to be knowledgeable about the chakra system – we don’t even mention the chakra system!
